K5: Puffing Billy, Dandenongs & Devonshire Tea
Head out this morning to the beautiful Dandenong Ranges. Ride onboard the famous Puffing Billy, Australia's oldest steam train, as it winds its way through lovely forests and fern-filled glens. Enjoy oven-fresh scones with tea or coffee (Devonshire Tea) in a magical forest atmosphere, then visit Sassafras, a quaint little craft village.
K12: Melbourne in a Day
City Sights and Dandenongs - experience the beautiful sights of Melbourne and hear about it's wonderful history, famous buildings, great sporting centres and sensational shopping. Stop at the Fitzroy Gardens to visit Captain Cook's Cottage and the Royal Botanical Gardens. Return to the city for lunch (not included) at one of Melbourne's famous cafes or restuarants. Board the coach at 1.15pm and travel to the Dandenong Ranges for devonshire tea at Grants Reserve. Hand feed crimson rosellas and walk the forest tracks before enjoying the relaxing and scenic drive down the mountains.
